Hey, I'm Maarten Vanderbiesen, and my journey currently has me stationed at Howest, where I'm diving headfirst into the realm of Independent Game Production. Leuven, Belgium is where I first saw the light of day, and before my current adventures, I was navigating the world of Math & Sciences during my high school years.

Beyond the academic hustle, I find myself drawn to a world of hobbies that add flavor to my days. From the energetic realms of basketball, judo, table tennis, and football to the long-lasting love affair with tennis, my younger years were an exploration of various sports. College life prompted me to hit pause on tennis after 11 years and redirect my energy into fitness. Hitting the gym four times a week has become my outlet not only for health but also for mental clarity. And of course, the simple act of walking outdoors serves as my creative sanctuary, filling my lungs with fresh air and my mind with inspiration.
Personality
Navigating the spectrum of my personality, I find myself nestled comfortably between extroversion and introversion. The social scene, with its vibrant parties, certainly appeals to me, but I've also come to value the quiet moments of introspection. Shedding my shyness has been a journey, and now I'm at ease connecting with others and engaging in meaningful conversations. In team settings, I'm not the one vying for the spotlight, but I naturally gravitate towards problem-solving and keeping things on track. Leadership, for me, is about action more than title
